Fiction Movies - Where Are They Now

What are some other movies that do this? Was talking with a friend about it and all we could think of was Can’t Hardly Wait and Sandlot.

It's also in that small group of films that are noteworthy for the fact that Doug "Sir Douglas" Sahm appears in an acting role

American Graffiti
I believe a variant of this was done in Z (1969), about a military junta, where the on-screen newsman tells us what happened to various characters -- then in a brilliant twist, the picture freezes and an off-screen narrator tells us the on-screen has been arrested by the junta.
What I really hate is the kind of thing done in Cinderella Man, where the movie ends but it we get five minutes of on-screen text telling us what happened afterward. IIRC the Sylvia Plath movie w/Gwyneth also does this.
