If there's something good out of the Democrats winning the senate, it's that the ancient federal marijuana policies can be put to rest and we can finally legalize it federally.

Joe is old guard and won't do it. Kamela was also hardcore prosecutor on drugs. Don't think it happens until second term. R or D and there won't be veto proof bill either.

That will do absolutely nothing to help the 99% of people who run afoul of drug laws, since they're state laws. Allowing your opinion on marijuana to influence a vote in a congressional or presidential election is misguided.
It's only marginally more rational to give a shite in local or state elections. I like pot but there are much bigger issues in play right now.
