My undergrad was in advertising....and i still dont really understand the point of these sponsorships.
Everyone knows who Honda is. Is anybody gonna buy a Pilot because they remember it comes from the NHL west division sponsor? lol

exactly they are bombarding your conscious self and affecting your subconscious desires...at least I think that's the idea
