Ironically only running slants is part of what the issue was when he got into the game
They never trusted him to make plays or put him in position to make deep throws that he made his money on at Bama (some of that is based on the roster but still)
Now that may be just because he stinks, but could also just be bad conservative coaching by an ancient NFL coordinator who wasn’t able to adapt the offense they had with Fitz into something that worked for Tua, which should’ve been his only real goal this season.
Will find out which soon enough

You act like the difference between Tua and Fitz is like the difference between Joe Flacco and Lamar Jackson. It's not. The offensive system and the playcalling was the same. The difference between Fitz and Tua was their ability to read defenses, to understand the difference between what an "open" Alabama receiver is and what an open NFL receiver is and Tua's lack of experience at having to do make decisions quicker than he did at Bama while Fitz has been doing it in the NFL for 16 seasons.
