Anybody remember this? I have fond memories of this pickem radio show, where the guy did not pick the winner, but the loser. He was a character, and it led you up to gametime with a different slant on the games of the day. Anyway, just thought I would bring up an old college football tradition, or gameday radio show of the past as we creep up on the season. Any other shows or old college football things of interest anyone else remember?

Good gosh, forgot all about the "Leonard's Losers" show. How long has it been since that show? Late 80's?

I know it was late 70's, maybe very early eighties. Yeah, it was a fun show.

Remember Tiger Tracks? They would pretend to ask someone involved with the upcoming game questions and dub in random music lyrics for the answers. Was it WFMF before 98.1 became the tiger network? It always started with Eye of the Tiger playing in the background.

Hey Richard, yeah I remember that also. It was a guy named Gym Nasium (Danny Simar) and they would ask supposed opposing teams players and coaches questions about playing against LSU and they would dub in songs for their answers. During the early 80's also. And also along with Purdont, there was Minihaha.

Man i was just thinking about that. Being a Saints fan and a student at Ole Miss in undergard in the 80'sI remember the show well as we were a Leonard's loser all the time. So it was on in the 80's. Hell I miss conference call too.

Does anyone else remember what Keith Jackson said right before the kickoff of the 2006 Rose Bowl? (Texas vs. USC)

"I've been waiting a long time to say this but...
Let's play football! Yippeeeee!!"

I still laugh every time I think about that.
