I was in the Quarter a few years ago, Monday before Fat Tuesday. Engaged a NOPD mounted patrol after I saw 5 guys on the sidewalk in handcuffs. Asked him how on earth a guy gets cuffed during Mardi Gras. He replied that the first dude decided to display his junk and the other 4 came to his rescue ...

I remember thousands of us storming the field after an LSU / Auburn game years ago but don't think anyway was carted off in an ambulance.
