I’d just like to give a big congratulations to Alex Smith. How he came back from that gruesome leg injury I have no idea but he deserves recognition for beating the odds. By all accounts he’s a stand up guy and through 17 surgeries the last 2 years he never quit fighting or lost hope of his goal. I wish him all the most success (except when he plays the Saints). They should rename the comeback player of the year award the Alex Smith award.

If someone votes for anyone other than Alex Smith for Comeback Player of the Year, that person should have his voting rights revoked.

Saw him trying to walk a year ago and never gave him chance to walk normal again let alone play.
