Most important books of my life I recommend are "The God Shaped Brain" by Timothy R Jennings. Has a few others to. Helped me really get back to God after being misled about Him before fully reading the Bible last year and taking it in with so much love.
Currently "Conversations about God" by Graham Maxwell with Louis Venden...amazing...just...super clarifying . Especially when it comes to the misuse of words. And really explain the old Testament in a understanding light.
And re reading again the Bible but The Remedy translation gospels as well, from start to finish because reading it as a whole really clears things up.
