decided to go to the box one last time before it gets demolished just to take a few pictures and cherish it one last time. so im walking around outside and notice the gate is open. nobody around. so ofcourse i go in.NOBODY is there. i was there completely alone. it was an amazing experience. walk around the bleachers and press box taking a few pictures. then i notice that the gate to the field by the LSU bench is open. so needless to say i went. i walked around the field and dugout. sat in the dugout for a few minutes. grabbed two baseballs that were still there. not sure if they are game used are not, but used for sure. would be amazing if they are from the last game. anyways needless to say i had one of the best experiences of my life earlier today. i will def miss the box!

I have done the same thing more than a few times...fun, isn't it?

I have also walked through T.S. so I would not have to walk around the stadium to get to my car...

I'll bet it was great!
March, 1980 I was a Sr in HS and was at LSU for Spring Testing (although the main thing I did was drink $1 Dixie longnecks in the snack bar in the basement of Johnston Hall & chase coeds )Anyway, one morning I was walking past Tiger Stadium and the outside gate was open and you could look in and the inside gate to the field was open too. I strolled in and walked around on the field. I know it sounds corny, but it gave me goosebumps thinking about all the great players and great plays that took place right there. Walked down the sideline and thought about THE punt return in '59. Stood on the goal line in the North endzone and thought about how many great goal line stands there had been on that sport. 28 yrs ago (OMG!!!) and I still remember it vividly. It as
