I get that. But what I’m not sure about is the all-inclusive part. Why not just open it up to any resort? When selecting upscale/high-end, is all-inclusive that big of a deal? I’ve always considered that the cost effective option.
Plus if all he is wanting to do is relax by the pool/beach, why pay for an all-inclusive place?
I’ve never stayed at a high end all inclusive, so I’m asking.

Fair points, and I would gladly expand out of the all inclusive as long as multiple restaraunts able to be billed to the room. Part of the relaxation of the vacation is the ease of access and settlement. The all inclusive is more for the lack of further thought once getting on the resort (dinner, snorkeling, small activities, etc).
