It’s a matter of, quite literally, that I likely can’t “take it with me”.
not to be morbid but my wife has strict instructions on what to do when/if it happens. Until then I intend to live large away from home and live miserly at home. This years returns have made a major improvement to my progress
Gotcha, but get routing mental status screenings. Exercise that brain, which you obviously do. I enjoy you stock tips/rec's. And don't be afraid to start aricept early. Unless it gives you the shits or some other side effect, it can delay progression by up to 10 years. And the earlier started the better. Anyone I have with strong FH, this is my advice in addition to nutrition, lifestyle, SLEEP!!!!! (good sleep and screen for sleep apnea and other sleep disorders). Just my opinion, by all means check with your doc and if they are knowledgeable in it, get with a neurologist that deals with it. Many don't want to.
