Good point, but just to be fair, that allows a QB to work on other things besides having to save his own arse every other play.

If he learned to quickly read the defense and make the throws on time, and he's able to make the throws, he's definitely worth a look. In Payton's scheme, you want to win with the play most of the time, not the player.
