Putting is so much preference. You should go to a store where you can hit a bunch of different kinds to see what you like and feel confident with. What I like you may hate.

I have a center shafted Scotty 2.6 and a Scotty golo 7. I love Scotty putters but I’m sure I could find one I liked just as much or better if I tried a few of the other brands.

I played Camerons for a long time, bought my first one back in 96 or 97 and still have it. I was amazed when I went to the PGA Superstore in Birmingham earlier this year. They had so many putters by all brands and I am just not used to seeing that around my area.

As for another brand I would check out would be EVNRoll and Edel in terms of high end putters. Honestly, a guy I know putts with a 30 year old 8802 and is a better putter than I will ever be because he would the perfect putter for him and there has been no reason to change.

I know. Forever all I ever heard was Scotty Cameron Scotty Cameron. Now there are so many options. I want to try them but it’s just hard to drop a ton of money on a putter when I have two really nice ones already.

My buddy who tried to play on tour got the 2.6 and didn’t like it. Gave it to me. I hit really good putts with it. Start on line. I just never seem to make many putts when I’m using it. Bought the golo on sale at local store one day and it’s the putter I use unless I’m playing very slow greens. I love it.

All that to say I just stare at different putters online all the time haha

I’ve looked many times at the odyssey stroke lab putter that’s the similar look as the 8802. Growing up I had the mini version of it that I’d putt around the house with.
