I would imagine it is the lack of local recruiting talent and football culture. I grew around Baton Rouge where football becomes life in the fall to living here where sometimes you don't even realize a home game is happening on game day. It is a beautiful area and amazing place to live but I don't think the picturesque scenery and all the granola white people appeal to a lot of the players garnering P5 school offers if you kna mean

It’s amazing how ignorant these recruits can be to those types of things. They just want to go pro. They don’t give a shite how crappy of a city they live in or how ugly it is outside of the football ops area.
