It’s the only thing that can save it. The thought that postseason is meaningless without a championship has thoroughly set in. Bowls no longer have a purpose unfortunately.

It just makes too much sense to me that I can’t imagine why they don’t do something like this. You can still have bowls if you want. Take the top 7 bowls and then you have the championship as the 8th. Still way to make money and you still have conference championship games to make money off of too.
