2020 is not the season to make any longterm decision on.
The regular season game has been the king of college football for 100+ years. A big playoff will kill anything BUT that playoff.

Regular season would seed the playoff. Would be really cool. Issue may be like this year where there are a clear front four. In that situation, if I’m one of them, I’m pissed I have to play multiple lesser opponents.
