Exactly - if New Orleans is going to be New Orleans - then Big Freedia fits the bill

I don’t care for either but I think you might as well get a New Orleans native to host the show

No. Kermit Ruffin or Shortly fits the bill. Not some no name transvestite that’s mostly known for shitty music and Juan Lafonta commercials.

If that is the case, then New Orleans has to be the least interesting and cultural city in the country,

Then again, those people base their culture on inventing twerking.

It just blows my mind that the inferiority complex is so strong, they are so desperate to find something they contributed to the world, that twerking is what they landed on to parade.

I would think Nunguesser was thinking of the entire state with the entertainment option, but has to use NOLA as the setting for the national appeal.

Let's not forget, it is not quite the family event it used to be, as displayed 2 years ago
