Idk. I kinda think they could possibly be the best college football program ever. They dont get enough respect imo. If armanti edwards isnt heisman then its obvious that ESPN hates ASU.

Ap State does not really deserve a real give and take on this board. If we do it for fun, ok, but we have bigger fish to fry. They will be looked at the same way we do all first home games. Not to say we will not play hard. Anyone can beat an overconfident team. But we will not show much in the first 3 games, getting ready for Auburn, and that ofcourse includes Ap State.

When I first moved to Dallas, somebody told me I was the coolest person they ever met from Louisiana, but his face didn't reflect his words... I told him he was said it like I was the smartest person in special ed....

You guys are real good at this "retarded kid" "special ed" thing. That's really not respectful...not of our football team, or children that really are in the Special Ed program. I'm more concerned about the children than the team.

Last year's Appy State team snuck up on Michigan. You can bet your sweet arse that Coach Miles won't allow his team to make that same mistake.

I for one admire Appalachian for what they've accomplished the last couple of years. Back to back NC's within a playoff system that rewards you for being the best team. No computers, no writers, no coaches, just strap it up and get it done.
I think it's a great testimony to their team, coaching staff and fans. Make no mistake about it, this program doesn't deserve to be compared to a "kid in Special Ed.
On the other hand, as I've stated many times on TD, this game is a lose/lose for LSU. If we win, we simply beat up on a smaller school. If we lose, then we face a year of what Michigan has dealt with. When I see our fans make negative comments about a school like Appy, I always assume that it's done in jest.
Here's looking forward to a good game.

Please note that the 'you guys' are about 2 or 3 clowns about 25 still living at home about to go to work at the some used comic book store.
It is indeed a poor analogy and pretty lame in general that fans of the defending BCS NC have to go the cheap humor route to make a point.
