Hope we get him but the fact that we have to battle with FSU for anything considering the status of their program is alarming. We really have to recruit the big boys better going forward. They have to be foundation we build classes on.

He lives 1 hour from fsu... it be like us losing a kid from lafayette.

Agree on recruiting big uglies better going forward.

Here’s the difference. He not only lives close to FSU, but he’s been a priority for them longer. We are late to the party, and that means you are making up ground on the relationship end. That is even more difficult in a year where travel is such an issue and face to face meetings are all but impossible.

The fact that we are a serious contender means that our program’s clout is greater than theirs in Kimo and his family’s mind. If we weren’t offering something they were very interested in, they would have dismissed our late overtures pretty quickly.
