Received my second dose without symptoms or discomfort. There are still tons of very sick people in the hospital with Covid. I definitely recommend getting the vaccine if you are able.
Working in healthcare, I know a large number of people who have received the vaccine. It’s just anecdotal, but everyone I know of so far who has had symptoms (fever, headache, malaise) after receiving the vaccine has previously tested positive for the virus.
Headed to CrossFit in a few hours. Heavy squat day.

I got the second dose last Tuesday around 0900. Around 2100 that night I started feeling pretty damn bad with headache, body aches, and chills. It lasted a solid 24 hours and improved rapidly after those 24 hours. I felt great the next morning. I had zero problems with the first dose and I have never had COVID. I don't regret getting it, but there are side effects, and from what I have heard from others that have received the second dose, what I experienced is not uncommon after the second dose. I could barely get out of bed the day after receiving my second dose. I still think it's a good idea for most people to get it, but just know that it's very possible to feel bad after - especially after that second dose.
