LDH Nursing Home #’s
Nursing homes were closed to visitors on 3/12/20
419 new cases in the last week
7 facilities with 10 or more new cases
1 facility with 46 new cases in the last week
2493 nursing home & adult care facility deaths / 6895 total deaths = 36% deaths
Side note
I have a check up appt tomorrow, they just called & asked a bunch of questions
One was if I was coughing
Stupid me said yes, I explained I had a dry throat, I ran the heat last night
All other questions were no
They aren’t sure if I will be allowed to go to the appt., will call me back once discussed with the Dr.
They are withholding healthcare because of a virus with a 99% survival rate
How many people will miss getting something checked that could be serious?

There are ** 5 ** facilities without ONE case among residents ... some are rehab facilities so I'm guessing they've been able to test patients prior to admission but not positive.
One for sure is Gueydan Nursing Home ... ZERO cases among residents. That's incredible.
