that might not have anything to do with it. but possible probation hanging over the program like a dark cloud has to worry kids. Especially out of state kids that didn't grow up with a steady diet of LSU football.

I noticed he had a great visit with his family, the next week he brings his GF to visit. That tells me at that point he was excited about LSU and wanted to show his GF.
After that visit, things seemed to turn a little. I just have this weird feeling his GF didn't like it and that turned him quite a bit.
Notice you keep hearing Florida in play only because of proximity to his GF. I think she is influencing him a lot. Maybe she turned him off to BR just enough to open up to other schools.
