Anyone been?

If so, how was it?

From what I understand, it's owned by the owners who own Kitten's.

Yep, I believe that is it.

What happened to K-Michaels?

Never went. Seemed like this location is a killer for restaurants.

Alright, i went to culinary school in new orleans, where i met my wife, i was valedictorian. i worked at emeril's delmonico, juban's, alex patout's, executive chef at dajonel's (before the owner took it under), i was also the km at one of the deangelo's for a while. The menu isn't going to be as high priced as k-michaels, so no foie gras. it will be a steak and seafood place. filets, ribeyes, bone-in ribeyes, strips, prime rib, 12oz bone-in pork chops, duck breasts, a few different fresh fish, all entrees will come with starch and veg. We have a char-griill in the bar area for chargrilled oysters with garlic butter. There's also a seperate lunch menu with fried seafood, burgers, and po-boy along with chicken fried steaks, hamburger steaks, and grilled chicken breast and sauteed fish, etc. Prices will range from 12.95- 32.95. the 32.95 is a 20oz bone-in ribeye. there will also be daily lunch and dinner specials.

Menu sounds more realistic than K Michaels. I hope it makes it.

Are you going to have a seperate lunch menu? Po-boys, fried seafood platers, etc.

yes we will have a seperate lunch menu. po-boys, some burgers, fried seafood, entree salads, hamburger steak with caramelized onion and mushrooms, french dip sandwich, chicken fried steak, etc. then the dinner menu will be a little nicer.

Is the owner the same owner of Kitten's?

Not that it is a bad thing ...

Just wanted to clarify what I heard.

I'll give your place a try. I only live about 6 miles away.
