Xbox live family pass

Ok, my nephew is getting a brand new Xbone X from my Pops for xmas.
Can we get a family pass, so we can both play each others games? I still have 1 yearish left of live.
Also, can you add the gaming pass to family thingie, so we both can use it?

Make his Xbox the home Xbox for the Xbox account with live. He can sign in with his account, but will have access to live and any digital games owned by the home account.
In your Xbox, make it his home Xbox... but Login as your Xbox account. You will be able to access live and your games because you are logged in with your account.
