There is something up with the waivers on Fantrax, I’ve had multiple claims not go through. I had a significant bid in for Wright, had just double checked to make sure it was there.

I did as well. It’s messed up. If it gives you an illegal roster on a future day, it negates your claim. You should be able to adjust your roster to make it legal then.

What a joke. The illegal roster thing makes no sense, it will tell me I have an illegal roster in the future, I’ll go check and I don’t because it won’t actually let you start more than 10 guys.

It doesn’t. Our baseball dynasty works flawlessly. It just takes some fine tuning to adjust the settings correctly.

Yeah the part about fantrax that makes it awesome is that it is completely in your hands. It takes time to get used to it and set the rules to your likings

Well we need to remove the illegal roster rule. And also prorate the games played for shortened weeks.

I see the benefit of the site. Customization and stuff is off the charts good. And player pool is a must for deep baseball leagues.
My point at the start is we are essentially running same style league as espn. And it sucks to manage in two platforms.

Pretty much, and it’s ugly to look at on top of that. Can definitely see the appeal for a baseball league, we haven’t customized anything so we’re using it just to track trading draft picks.

I’m open to options or whatever to fine tune settings, etc.

Here is the setting for rosters:
Prevent any transaction that would cause a roster to become illegal:
Options are always, never, only for total roster size (this should probably be the option).
Explanation: This rule is used to determine when illegal rosters are allowed, if at all. An illegal roster is when a team's roster violates any of your league's roster restrictions for a particular Lineup Period, and thus will not accumulate any stats or points for that entire period. The Team Roster screen will display all illegal roster messages (i.e. why exactly your roster is illegal, for example "Exceeding the maximum of 6 Active forwards") that apply to the selected Lineup Period.
Always (Standard)
Teams will be restricted from executing any lineup change or claim/drop that would violate any of the roster restrictions configured on this screen. It will only "block" trades if the option to allow trades to be executed even if rosters become illegal has been unchecked. The blocking of the transactions will often only occur at the time the transaction is being processed/executed rather than submitted (i.e. for certain types of claims and trades). For example, if a team submits a claim (without a drop) for a Forward (to go to the Active slot on his team) on Monday, with claims/bids set to process on Wednesday 12pm, and that team is already at the maximum # of Active Forwards allowed, that claim would be denied on Wednesday at 12pm, but not when the claim was submitted on Monday. This gives the team time to adjust his roster accordingly (in this case, remove an Active Forward) so that the claim will successfully execute when it is set to process.
Total Max Players (Premium)
Teams will be restricted from executing lineup changes and claims/drops that would result in exceeding the maximum # of players allowed for the entire team (not per position). As above, with trades, they will get blocked only if the option to allow trades to be executed even if rosters become illegal has been unchecked. Transactions that result in violating any of the other roster restrictions on this screen will be allowed, but will cause the team's roster to be illegal and thus accumulate no stats or points for the applicable Lineup Period(s). This only applies to when the transaction is being processed/executed, not submitted (i.e. for certain types of claims and trades). For example, if a team who is already at that maximum # submits a claim (without a drop) for another player on Monday, with claims set to process on Wednesday 12pm, that claim would be denied on Wednesday at 12pm, but not when the claim was submitted on Monday. This gives the team time to adjust his roster accordingly (i.e. drop a player) so that the claim will successfully execute when it is set to process.
Never (Premium)
Teams will never be restricted from executing any type of transaction (lineup change, claim/drop or trade) due to violating any roster restriction. Transactions that result in violating any of the roster restrictions configured on this screen will cause the team's roster to be illegal and thus accumulate no stats or points for the applicable Lineup Period(s).
* If a player who is in the Minors slot becomes ineligible (based on the rules configured on this screen), it will NOT create an illegal roster. The Commissioner can however force the team's roster to be illegal for the appropriate periods via Commissioner --> All Options --> Force Legal/Illegal Roster.
** Violating any of the Min/Max GP requirements (if applicable) will not cause an illegal roster.
*** Teams will receive a warning if their pending claim/drop or trade is set to result in an illegal roster, at the time the claim/drop or trade is submitted, and in the Pending Transactions screen.
Also:
Exceeding max reserves will make roster illegal and such claims/trades/drafting will be denied Click for help

Yea, I would do total roster size. Default setting is ridiculous when you read it.
Posted on 1/9/21 at 6:28 pm to floridatigah
Anyone have any issues with changing this setting?
I’ll
Probably need to also uncheck the box for that last sentence.

10 team h2h points
I was offered D Mitchell for either J Murray or G Hayward. Should I take the offer and if so, for which player?
