This is terrible. Now that it’s official O should be fired.

People... we just lost possibly the greatest TE ever in school history as a freshmen.
Highest rated TE ever all American you name it.

What is O doing?
Like seriously you have to do everything in your power to make him stay.
I don’t care what you do,make promises do something.
I assume BJ is close behind after Gilbert.
If that happens your talking 2 future all Americans best players on the team for years to come quit/transfer.

O should be fired because he got a player the previous coach never could have, and the player decided to quit because his body hurt? Lol

slow your melt. nothing like that has been substantiated. someone was on here yesterday saying BJ was happy. it wasn't like they were a recruiting package deal.

yep 100 percent correct.
I expect more from a NC coach. But I guess not, he doesn’t even deserve a ring. It’s evident Brady, Aranda, and the players carried him. Smh.

No this is on Arik being spineless. Has no understanding of commitment. Culture problem with America and the youth of being "tired" working too much

This.. coach O got him to LSU. And he’s been the second highest targeted WR on the team. Gilbert quitting isn’t O’s fault

There are slot of things wrong with this LSU program than is deeper than many think.... there is zero leadership on this team IMO the locker room is divided and they play with zero heart or passion..... I am tired of hearing about all the losses of players after last season... that’s the way it goes... however we have played 8 games and the same mistakes are still going on since week one..... yes losing Myles was a blow, but if you are recruiting these so called great players rhere is still zero reason to look this bad with this talent...... bottom line is that this whole program is in trouble......

Body hurts thing apparently is lie.

If his body hurts he would rest and stay on campus and be on the sidelines. But that doesn’t sound like the case.

Go ahead D ride O all of your life Pirate. The program is becoming next FSU fast, and we need changes. O is not the answer.

We lost the greatest TE ever that wanted to be a WR where he would just be a guy. If you aren’t willing to do the dirty work you will never be a great TE.

This is a message board dumbass. I want to see LSU succeed and I’m passionate about it.

Tell Daddy O to resign for me please.
Thanks.

Name the TE for any championship team in the last 10 years. Except last year, of course.

O is a dumbass, but let's not act like a TE was ever going to be a major weapon in this offense.

The big issue isn't that Gilbert is opting out. It's the message that's being sent to other players and highly-rated recruits.
