I think Lane Kiffin is the move. You damage Ole Miss, and he has nowhere to go from here

Y’all are on one tonight. Why would Kiffin go from rebuilding at Ole Miss and then a year later come inherit our dumpster fire to also have to try and rebuild? Arguably LSU is the harder repair job.

LSU is never a more difficult repair job as Ole Miss.

LSU also has the name recognition and a recruiting base that very few schools can match. No matter how bad things get they are only 1-2 years from being right back in it.

Are you serious? Lane would have a plethora of talent to work with and would absolutely wreck shite here and be competing for the West his first year here, competing for the natty year in and year out. There is no rebuild necessary. Talent isn’t losing us games. COACHING is losing us games. Play calling is losing us games. Going a combined 7 for 32 on 3rd down conversions the last two games is losing. us. GAMES. Not talent. Lane wouldn’t need an ace offensive coordinator, because he’d be calling the goddamn plays. And I’m guessing, and this is just a guess here, that Lane’s a good bit easier to work with on Defensive game planning than O, being that he isn’t a defensive minded coach, and that he’s a much calmer dude than O. And I think he’d probably hire a pretty damn good DC. I have defended O til the cows come home, but with the way this season/our team’s imploding, coupled with the title ix shite, I’m beginning to think the writing may be on the wall. God this sucks. If you’d have told me a year ago today, the day we won the SEC Championship and secured the top seed in the playoffs, that THIS is where we’d be, I’d say you’re high off your arse. Yet, here we are.
