I was under the impression there was a molting season in December and that was when you got big ones that were fixing to molt...????they were good but the kind that can cut your thumb....and expensive because a small season...
Surprised about all the comments about poor quality...but I am no expert on the topic although I had eaten tons...

There is a place near me in the north Houston area that’s been having them for a few weeks. $9.99 a pound boiled. Has to be shitty but people will pay it and it’s why prices will always be out of control.
