The Offense will be sick, just sick. Think all-time best ever at LSU. Balanced and consistent.

The Defense will be really sick as soon as the Jai experiment is over. PP, Phelon Jones and Ron Brooks will be our best CB's. The only question is how long does it take the coaches to go this direction, and will it be soon enough to keep us in the SEC West and overall SEC race.

The special teams, especially the Punt and K/O return teams, have to be better than 2007, They just have to be. The new punter looks promising.

LSU will beat Auburn on the plains. With all the Florida injuries and UGA injuries of late, we are looking much more favorable to beat them also.

I'm thinking undefeated people. It can happen.

All this media misunderstanding of the QB situation is just a bunch of bantering without proper insight. We just need decent QB play to make this offense hummmm, and we have at least 2 QB's that can provide that in this Crowton offense.

I know, this is the SEC...But I think the only team that can beat LSU is LSU (or injuries). We are that good folks.

Are you confident that LSU will go 12-0 or 11-1 in the regular season?

I really do think the schedule sets up well to go 12-0. I was thinking 11-1 a month or so ago, but the key will be getting to mid-season without a loss. After that, we will be scary good. I am talking better than last year overall.

If you believe LSU will go 12-0 or 11-1, would you be willing to back that statement up with money?

Senior Leadership is lacking. That is where the issues will come.

How does a schedule with road games at Auburn, USC, and Florida set up well for a 12-0 season?

The 10 guys surrounding the QB are as good of a group of 10 players you could ever assemble on one college offensive roster, and the wizard will be in his 2nd year of his installed plan, with both of these QB's having a year of familiarity with his system. Plus Crowton will use the TE a lot and a variety of plays that keep the pressure off the QB, letting the QB build confidence incrementally towards mid-season.

This is not your standard 10 players surrounding a first year starter. Flynn was a first year starter, and unhealthy for the far majority of the games he played, and look what that offense did with a poor right side Oline and poor receiver play most of the season..

im still anxiously waiting for you to explain what you know about brooks, jones, and petersons field awareness skills and instincts given that all 3 of them combined have a grand total of 0 snaps in a college football game.

Would you make a similar bet with me? No odds, obviously. Just a simple bet.

Well that is certainly questionable, to say the least...

a straight up bet to go undefeated is not a wise bet for anyone to make, so no. It can be a wise prediction though.

name me any college team comparable to the 10 players I am mentioning. You will not be able to in the 2008 season. Sick and deep at WR, RB, with a great TE and an experienced and very talented Oline (which many beleive could be LSU's best ever). Name me a comparable 10 from any recent college team. USC '06 and one of the Miami teams of the 90's maybe could be as good, but not better.

That is good, but LaFell, Byrd, Toliver, Keiland, Scott, Murphy and Dickson could easily all make similar splashes in college and the NFL.
