Because of the work we do, my techs are always using headlamps. We’ve probably used 30-40 different models over the years. Hands down, no questions asked the Coast HL8R is the best all around I’ve used. I got 20 of these about a year ago for all my guys and everybody loves them, comfy, and very versatile. I think everyone still has theirs, which is AMAZING! Techs are always losing hand tools and stuff. They are solid and well made, we haven’t had any issues. I’ve got one myself and I use it all the time for work and recreation. My favorite parts are the battery options and it is it’s dual beam so it can flood and focus at the same time. It’s super bright and the light stays bright for a long distance. (800 lm at 700ft and fully adjustable beam)
