Don’t just look at the A&M game. The defense has steadily gotten better as the season has gone on. Yes I get it they only could get better but they were really good for majority of the first half against Auburn until the whole team quit then we’re good against Arkansas except for a couple big plays and the top 2 corners leaving the game left a large hole then they played great for 4 quarters against A&M.

I don’t think that’s even kinda true. They were good against A&M. That’s it. Felipe Franks had 4 completions for over 200 yards. That’s not improvement.

Not really. They have made big plays and gotten some turnovers, but they were making the same kinds of mistakes even after a week off before the Auburn game. That’s when I got very concerned that no progress was being made.

It was after the bye week and missed Bama game that they finally started showing some improvement vs Arkansas, but they still had one big bust and some guys got burned in the secondary. It’s really just been the last two games that we’ve seen significant improvement in fundamentals like holding gaps, knowing assignments and tackling.
