This is the most preseason projection year ever for as late as the year.
It's like they just took the preseason poll and haven't deviated much from that.
And they hate the Pac12. Oregon and USC undefeated and behind 3 2-loss teams and 6 1-loss teams.
Since the Pac12 hasn't played out of Conference, that's just pure biased past perception regarding the rankings. They have no idea how good Pac12 teams are because Conferences are just playing Conference schedules.
How good is Indiana really? How good is Georgia really? We know the rest of the SEC apparently sthinks this year.
The committee doesn't know what to do this year to compare schedules and games played so they're just putting in the usual suspsects.

The Pac-12 brought this upon themselves by starting so late. Too few data points to even be considered high. Plus I don't think there's a top 10 team that is in the Pac-12 right now anyways. A whole bunch of meh.

Ohio State played 1 game and leapfrogged into the Top 5.
So far Ohio State has played the worst the Big10 has to offer...Nebraska, PSU and Rutgers...and then they squeaked by Indiana.
If anything that is a data point to, "maybe our preseason predictions are qrong."
So much assumption went into this broken year; I mean it's circular Top 10. Notre Dame is great because they beat Clemson; Clemson is great because they barely lost to Notre Dame and were without their starting QB.

Bama will beat florida worse than they beat us
Wow UGA fans are really out of touch.
Bama will probably beat UF but we should at least make it a pretty good game.

You didn't make it past halftime, apparently.
Late in the 3rd it looked as if Georgia was gonna win the game. At no point did it look like Indiana was gonna beat Ohio State
Like I said, Id put Indiana over Georgia. But if Penix is ruled short against Penn State, then this entire board would barely consider Indiana a top-25 team.
