I’m glad those patients did just fine but you know damn well it’s not healthy to walk around at 400 lb and it will just put more of a burden on the American health care system because a lot of those people are on the taxpayers dime.

I’m not their primary provider, you can’t get through to someone very well in emergency medicine, although I try in my limited time with them.... but fat shaming anyone does no good and obesity is not the number 1 risk factor.
