Is it a sterotype that black people like watermelon? Yes it is.
Is it a negative sterotype that black people like watermelon? No, I'd say it's rather neutral.
Does it have anything whatsoever to do with what Mike McCarthy did? No, it doesn't. MM is not the first person to smash watermelons with a sledgehammer. Get over yourself.
