Caddo Parish public
45 and cloudy and breezy
Mathews Legacy
200 grain Samurai with 100 grain insert
API climber

Same spot as yesterday. Saw 2 bucks running, no shots.

Rant: Sometimes I hate public land. Pulled up to the parking spot at 5ish this morning like always. See a different truck than normal (normally there are just 2 other guys that hunt this block). 2 dudes sitting on the tailgate, sucking on cancer sticks and blaring FGL. I immediately hate them.

I pack up my stuff and get settled in my stand by 5:30ish.

At 6:20, guess who comes strolling by just chatting away?

After whistling to them, they slowly stroll on, still just a chatting, and then one still decides to climb within 100 yards of me.

Worst part is that the main trail is between me and him and he is directly upwind and reeks of cigs. FML.

I don’t know why I’m still in the tree honestly. I rarely have issues out here. First bad experience in like 3-4 years.
