I have never seen so much interest for something quite so downvoted?

I can only surmise that the goals of these few and the bulk of amassed holdings made this a timely exit. I doubt they return into the market and work on ways to give it all away.

My situation is not that deep and I will not be exiting at this time. With what's coming at some point it's anybody's guess?

Reviewing your account is fine.
Rebalancing your account after becoming overweight a certain position is fine.
But when you use terms like "cashing out" and "exiting," it almost never works out. We have years of data on this. Not that complicated. And on top of that you picked an arbitrary number.
But hey, whatever.

Have a plan based on your age and retirement goals, and stick to it. And you won't have to be reactionary.
