No one is saying it's a hoax, or that it should not be taken seriously. What people are saying is the government response to a virus that is only dangerous to the elderly with comorbidities is absolute bullshite.

Livelihoods are being destroyed in the name of "feeling safe" for those that the media are able to whip in to a fear porn frenzy. This virus is being presented as being much, much more deadly than it really is for purely political reasons.
