re: F. King Alexander interview in August: "My wife and I kind of adopted Derrius"

I don’t have personal knowledge of the situation but when you claim to “sort of adopt” someone and say something like this:

My wife and I kind of adopted Derrius because he didn’t have parents.”

Which, is very much incorrect. I think it’s safe to say that he doesn’t know Derrius very well if he said something like this. But according to the douche himself he sort of adopted him. This doesn’t surprise me that he said this given the person that he is.
