Achilles used to end careers for anyone over 30, but that was a different era when most pros over 30 were on the downside of their career.

Treatment of the injury has improved, and athletes are now playing longer at a high level across all sports.

He can bounce back and be an asset, but he’ll never be the player he was in his prime.
