Maybe so (I'm not saying I disagree with you) but it doesnt remove it's existence. Disagreeing with Title IX doesnt mean students and student athletes are not instructed to follow the guidelines.

The question in the thread is whether or not the student should report sexual assault incidents to the university or directly to the police....LSU is clear, report it to them regardless of it's reported to the police or not.

When Title IX was created, there was actually not any consensus on whether it even applied to sports. It is an education law, not a sports law.
