Would you recommend this product for a newer lawn, laid in early September?
Seems to be doing good. Have a few spots of clover and dollar weed.
Lawn laid in early Sept, you’ll be fine to spot spray clover and dollarweed.
You can use the Image for Southern Lawns to control those weeds.
Personally, I use a mixture of Fertilome Weed Free Zone + Atrazine + surfactant (spreader-sticker). Weed Free Zone has a formulation similar to Image for Southern Lawns - both are a mixture of several herbicides.
The surfactant is important to get good absorption of the herbicide into waxy leaf plants like dollarweed.
For spot spraying, vs whole lawn spraying, I mix the formulation in a 1 gallon of water.
