Read the book and saw the series. The larger point was that it was total misuse of military tool kit to utilize reconnaissance Marines as a ground force. The book communicated it better. Nathaniel Fick (Brads LT) wrote his own book on his experiences called One Bullet Away. Little more intelligent and less bitching. No series though.
