I’m preparing for another ‘wasted’ year..
Drove through Houston yesterday and we ended up going to a Landry's for lunch. 1:00 on a Sunday and in a dining room that must be able to seat about 200, we were 2 of 4 people dining. They have to be losing tons of money to be open right now. It seems like many businesses may have committed themselves to make it through the end of the year, but if things continue, 1000's of businesses like that are going to go down.

I was downtown on Saturday just driving around and it was a ghost town. 3:00 in the afternoon and hardly a soul around. I haven’t lived here long so I can’t really compare it to much but I was in disbelief at just how dead it was. I did see some Asians by the Toyota Center though and also a large homeless encampment.
