that 24 points is being a tad generous don't you think? Your offense is based on a mobile QB and last I checked, our front 7 is no slouch. Thus, I feel your QB will be contained and forced to pass more. Our secondary should match up well with your recievers, thus allowing tighter, man coverage which will force poor decisions by the QB as the pressure reaches him. Therefore, I think the wheels will come of the bus early on and Appy St. might get some garbage points late.

No, it's based off of good decisions by our mobile QB. We have a great stable of runningbacks. One of whom is familiar with LSU and decided to transfer to App to leave his mark in Tiger Stadium. He transferred from Va Tech and runs a 4.31 which even Tiger fans have to admit is burning. I watched a replay of the Arkansas game and so many holes were being opened up when McFadden was in the back field in two back sets it was ridiculous. Those same holes should be there for Armanti and company if they execute right. Armanti is closer to McFadden when he was lined up at QB than Tebow and is much more elusive than Tebow.

If App has no chance to win by the fourth the starters will be pulled and Deandre Pressley our backup QB will be put in. So if they score at the end of the game it won't be garbage points, it will be a good 2nd team vs. 2nd team.

Armanti also doesn't make many bad decisions with the ball no matter the opponent. The first interception at Michigan last season wer because of a missed route by T.J. Courman and the second was just Armanti being careless and over throwing the reciever. I think maybe giving LSU 41 points is a bit too generous. Time will tell. The passes that will be made if they can't go deep will be short high percentage passes to move the sticks.

ASU may use these short passes also to lul the secondary into playing careless and playing up on the ball. The recievers at App aren't slow and most run in the 4.4 range. Tavaris Washington who runs about as fast as Dexter Jackson might be in the 4.3's. James Hill is in the lower 4.4's as he is about the same as Tavaris. The thing that should frighten people at LSU(if they are frightened at all)should be Armanti's speed. Sure he may be contained but he can buy time with his feet and quickness running around a 4.45 now. Should be interesting to see, but the question will be how will App's D perform(according to LSU posters they expect 50+ points). Which I can promise won't happen. Should be a good game for about 3 quarters though.

41-24

yeah...va tech really torched us on the ground. I guess the game would have been different if they would've let your mcfadden type runner play more. I never knew you guys had the next DMAC. Score: 49-7.

I never said Va Tech torched you on the ground LSUTARD. I just said we had a transfer who runs a 4.31 which you have to admit is FAST. Jesus, maybe you should just be smart. We don't have the next McFadden but Armanti is much more like him than Tebow which will ALLOW for those holes to OPEN up like they did against you guys. Your interpretation of my last post was the worse than I could expect from my 11 year old cousin who thinks Tennessee is the most amazing thing on this earth since sliced bread.

Amen, Brother. As quick and gifted an athlete as Armanti is (again, no big deal, you guys see this all the time in the SEC), he's even better in his decision making and mental aspect of the game. Remember, he led his team to a NC as a True Freshman, and put up absurd numbers both Freshman and Sophmore year (despite missing 4 games). He walked into the Big House and delivered, as if it were no big deal. Poise and confidence go miles for a QB. You will be surprised at his decision making, illusiveness, and toughness. Since you guys will be keying on him, I expect him to run the offense and get the ball to his talented group of receivers and playmakers.

If Edwards gets 150 in the air and 50 on the ground I will be impressed. However, I just don't see it happening. I can appreciate players coming in and showing they are the real deal, like Tebow and DMAC, however, I just don't see Edwards doing it. First game of the season, hostile environment, anxious, pressing to repeat the UM victory and the fastest defensive line that he will ever see in college will spell his doom.

Proof your offense is doomed:
were not talking big 10 speed here. why asu will fail.

I appreciate your conviction and all that your team has accomplished in its division. I also like the the fact that you have a 4.3 back, but that don't mean jack to me because you are appy state and to compare your team to ARK, UF, or any other SEC school is crazy talk. When your program makes the jump up and starts playing for a BCS title, then talk your shite. Until then, enjoy the UM win last year because its not happening in Baton Rouge.

Hey look...Early is in the NFL, wheres your dude?

Yall just have a fun time down here because thats the only good that youre going to get out of the trip besides the check...and hope Armanti doesnt get a concussion--last year we had a 5 game streak to start the season of knocking the starting QB out of the game.

Come on, I wouldn't expect them to beat Michigan in Baton Rouge. Maybe those Little Kittens that play in Life Mountain. They could tame those little kittens and make them their bitch.

Everyone knew what was going to happen that game. Sean Glennon is the worst starting QB in college football.
Are you that ignorant? VA tech the last few years has been one of the best team year end and year out, They have tons of all-americans on the defensive side, and we still put up 40+ on there arse, not to mention held them to 3 points, SO VA Tech would whoop ASU arse anyday, Seriously u ASU fans are smoking some crazy shite up there in Boone, NC.

their "passion" is quite cute. Gotta love a "champion" using a 24-0 shutout as a moral victory.

all the video clipped gems in the world aren't going to gloss over the arse whippin waitin for them. When they move up and don't lose to Wofford or Ga Southern, then we'll discuss their position at the big boy table.

Good thing I don't live in Boone or really all that close to it. If you think about how bad Va Tech's offense really was last year, anything less than a shut out should be considered ridiculous. Had they won against Boston College in Blacksburg as they should have, their ASSES would be the BCS national champions. You should be thanking Matt Ryan for saving your precious BCS title.
