I think they have their merits. However it's just as easy to drop a scoop of whatever greens powder you have into a shake to get much more than a few servings of kale. I actually enjoy the taste of Kale though. It's a bitter acquired taste like coffee and red wine, but still something I've grown to like.

But you're right, a LOT of what we've been told over the years just hasn't aged well. Every 20 years it seems like we reverse course on what we should be doing.
