Those are the only two that were picked before Hester. I wouldn't trade either for Hester.

Really and truly, Hester would greatly help the Saints. He could be the bruiser to Bush's flash. The problem is the Saints could not get him before the Chargers. Remember, the Chargers gave up a 2nd round pick next year to move up and get Hester.

Any of these!
Once again, the choices were Ellis & Porter.

They have a pretty good bruiser in Mike Karney.

Mike Karney is a fullback who might get 5 carries per season.

I wish they would have drafted Hester as well, but it didn't work out to where they could. I think this draft will be much like Payton's first, in which we got contributions from late rounders and free agent signings.

Dude it's one preseason game. At the time we didn't need him.

The bottom line is that the Saints do not currently need anyone like Hester. Mike Karney is a beast and in certain situations he can be very effective, see the Dallas game two years ago.

Duece is 232 pounds and can run up the middle just fine.

I don't understand why so many people think the Saints should pick up all LSU players.

Let's bring in Rohan Davey as QB.

Davey at backup would not have been a bad idea a couple of years ago. It's a damned shame that the Patriots let that talent rot on the bench.
