Kingwood is mostly a bedroom community, and the tax burden falls mainly on homeowners. The Woodlands blended much more commercial to rectify that issue, but Kingwood is very quiet at night and it is a nice community too.

Buy on the Atascocita side of the lake (Kingwood perks w/o Houston taxes). Decent neighborhoods between 1960 & the lake.
