the hell you can't coach effort. we will make mistakes but we better be making them going all out and flying to the ball and if you can't contribute to this type of defensive effort then you can sit. Then at the end of the year we will sit down and consider whether we will be renewing your scholarship for next year. Effort is one hundred percent on coaches for allowing it. You think Saban allows kids halfway doing their role whether it is practice or game or whatever? NO, because they are held to a standard of excellence. If are players are not being held to that standard and are able to just get by with whatever then shame on the coaches.
