If that's the case, then what a terrible idea to still have Joe out front in the public eye, risking last minute blunder (a real possibility) that could sink the whole thing going into Tuesday.

Exactly. Don't listen, watch the campaigns. Joe's been in hiding and according to the polls nothing has changed.. Yet Joe is campaigning harder now than he ever was.
