In these matchups you speak of, which of the following are you referring to (in context of the SEC):

A) Their #1 scoring offense against our #8 defense?
B) Their #1 passing offense against our #14 passing defense?
C) Their #1 pass yds, total yds, or yds/att vs. our #12, #9, or #12, respectively, defense?

Uber talented CBs are always at a disadvantage against uber talented WRs, which Stingley/Ricks are indeed but so are Smith/Meche. The best mitigation is a team effort playing technically sound. I say we suck at being "team technically sound" on the defensive side of the ball this year.

What you are referring to is individuals, on paper. For a team sport, on the field, we are falling short. On paper we MIGHT matchup somewhat. On film, we absolutely do not.
